There is certainly a tendency that the school students of today differ from the school students of two or three generation ago in that they are required to have a great amount of study in modern society.
For this reason, it is generally acknowledged that how should teach them an education well-matched in contemporary society has become controversial in the course of time. Some people insist that studying practical skills is more likely to give a wide variety of positive effects. However, others admit that people should not turn a blind eye to the negative aspects of studying practical skills despite their numerous virtues. In this essay, both viewpoints of this issue will be discussed in detail with appropriate supports.
