We have been friends since we were students in (our university/College).
One friend is in Hokkaido and the other friends are in Tokyo now, it will be long time no see get together. Here "get together" can be looked at as a noun. "get together(as a noun)" = "gathering / meeting / etc." and "long time no see" can function as an adjective here.
