Lunar new year with fire!

The day from saturday to today is lunar new year when big migration happen in South Korea.

As usual in Lunar new year, I went to my granparents' house which is about 2 hours far from my home.

My some uncles' family were already there.

We had a good time talking, laughing~~

then, I went to bathroom to wash my face and I called my father becuase I did not know how to turn hot water.

Suddenly, hot water splashed my father's jacket. so father open the door to go out to shake the wet from the jacket.

My father saw the fire on the front house!

It was emergency~~ We hurried to wear coat and go out for safe.

My granmother called 119 (this is same as 911 in US)

we all stayed outside while waiting for fire cars to come.

I was so worried if fire would come to my grandfather's house.

Fortunately, fire cars came fast and it took about 3 hours to put out the fire.

Later I heard that the building on fire was the factory making plastic and the owner of the factroy recently changed. The new owner haven't signed up insurance. What a poor...

There is a saying that if you see the fire on the new year day, that year will bring you a big luck.
