Kailua is an upper class residential area in Hawaii and it is famous for having the most beautiful beach in Hawaii.

I woke up around 6:00 am and went to the beach to see the sunrise by car and then we ate breakfast at some famous restaurants for pan cake every morning before my English lesson.

I liked this time the best.

After the lesson, I went to the beach again to swim in the sea.

I saw a whale and a turtle.

Kailua is a quiet and relaxing place more so than Honolulu.

My host family were very nice people.

Thanks to them, I enjoyed my trip very much.

I experienced a lot of valuable things with them.

I hope to come back soon and live there someday.

One of my hobbies are photography.

I went to CP+2012 in Yokohama 2 weeks ago.

It was the biggest trade show for Japanese camera companies.

We are able to try using some new products and attend some workshops.

The most popular camera was a high-end compact camera which was made by sony.

It has the same size sensor as a top of the line DSLR.

I tried to test this camera but the line was too long. So I couldn't try it.

Then I attended a workshop to learn manual camera functions.

It was very interesting for me.

I felt inspired to take more pictures as soon as possible and also buy a higher-end camera.


I'd like to take many pictures to improve my skill.

I went to Kyoto to watch the Gion Festival this summer.

It was the first time and I felt it was very fantastic.

The festival is traditional , so it's popular for tourists.

There are about a million visitors who come to see the festival every year.

Kyoto is the biggest city which maintains its traditional style in Japan.

There are many world heritage sites in Kyoto , which are protected by law.

For example, we can't build high of vivid colored buildings.

I think if all cities have such a this law, Japan would be more beautiful.

Now I feel it's a little messy.

So we will have to protect the traditional style of Kyoto in the future :)

One of my hobbies is to grow plants.

Now there are 10 pot plants in my room.

Recently I bought a small olive tree. I like it the best now. But it produces fruits in 5 years...

I water them almost everyday and I move them outside to receive sunlight once a week.

I think plants make me feel comfortable.

I feel happy when I take care of them and watching their growth.

I want to live in apartment with a big balcony and I want to grow vegetables, herbs, and fruit trees in the future.

Next I'm going to buy a small berry tree or a lemon tree!

I went to Hawaii last year.

It was my second time to visit there.

I like Hawaii very much because the weather is good, people is friendly and the beach is very beautiful!!!!

So over 1,000,000 people vist Hawaii from Japan every year.

It's one of the popular tourist spots for us.

I'm going to go there again next year.

And then, this will be the first time to go abroad by myself.

I'm going to stay with a hos family for 4 days.

And I'm going to learn English from host mother and do some activities.

I'm looking forward to next March.

Next time, I'm going to write more details.

I would like to introduce Tokyo's new a new sightseeing spot "TOKYO SKY TREE".

But TOKYO SKY TREE is still under construction now.

It's completed by the spring of may22th,2012.

It will become the most tallest a free-standing broadcasting tower.

It's 634 meters!!So I hope many tourists from all over the world come to see there.


But I like current Tokyo tower more than TOKYO SKY TREE.

Because red color is so cute!

How do you feel about it?

Now I try to do speaking training.
I look at textbook and speak with CD or podcast.

Because I heard it's good way of exercise for listening and speaking.

I want to able to keep up with it!!

This winter holidays,I went back my hometown and stayed with my family.

And I met old friends.

We went to a shrine near my house and play for happiness for this year.

I also bought omikuji and lucky charm.

This omikuji said I'll have excellent luck this new year!!
Lucky me;)

And I'm very surprised at the news which Ayumi Hamasaki got married:D

How do you spend your winter holidays?
