Today's speech contest

In my workplace, a high school in Saitama, we had a English speech contest. 80 Students of 1st and 2nd year students had participated at the contest from the trial and 16 students had taken part in the championship. They have various topics for speeches. For instance, the fast food stores are increasing in Japan even in the other countries, they are decreasing. People in the world knew the danger of the addiction and harm in health of fast food. However, in Japan, we are ignoring the reality... In another speech, the fireflies in Japan are decreasing because neutral detergents are used in many houses. The water in the river is polluted, so we aren't going to see the fireflies... They all made wonderful speeches, and 2 person who spoke these themes win at 1st and 2nd prize at the contest. I was inspired their speeches and should have my idea to claim.

Probably, Junior high school students have many idea to speech.
I hope that they will hold it someday.

難しいことSpeechしますね。
でも大体日本の食べ物は健康の食べ物多いですね。
他の国なら（例えば香港とカナダ）もし人は三ヶ月に毎回外で食事しまなら、
きっと健康に大きいな問題になりますね。
でも日本の場合は毎回松屋、吉野家見たいな店は三ヶ月に食事しまなら、あまり健康に悪くないね。
まあ、これはただ自分はそう思いますが。
そうなんです。高校生も難しいことをスピーチするんですよ。
日本は健康食が伝統的である反面、ジャンクフードとかコンビニエンスフードとか特に若者を対象にした食文化も40年ぐらい前から定着しています。そのギャップは、健康食日本とはまた違った一面だと思います。

実はね、話したかったのは「自分も、話す（主張する）べきことを持つべきだ」と言いたかったのです…
