Good Points
Hello, friends! Nice to meet you. I’ve been learning conversational English for 2 years. I’m a stay at home mom. I live with my husband, my daughter and my pet dog in Japan. My native language is Japanese.
I’m a porcelain painter. I’ve been taking my painting classes in Osaka and Tokyo regularly. Since 2010 I started to take some painting classes in English in America. I had lots of extremely wonderful experiences there. Since I really want to take various world famous painters’ classes in English all over the world to improve my painting skills, I’ve been learning conversational English.
I really think if we could communicate with foreigners in English, we could expand our horizons. In my case although it is difficult for me to use English in my region because I live in the suburb in Japan, I have some really good American friends and a British friend over Skype. Through chatting with them over Skype regularly I’ve been improving both my listening and my colloquial comprehension skills.
Two years ago I couldn’t speak English well. However, right now my English colloquial skills are better than my literary comprehension skills. For me writing is the most difficult part to develop even if I’ve been keeping a diary in English every day for 2 years.
I have several wonderful dreams: to take tons of porcelain painting classes all over the world in English, to teach porcelain painting in English all over the world, to teach porcelain painting at my house in English(that means in future I will accept international students) and to become a volunteer interpreter in my region. I’m sure that I will be able to realize all my dreams near future because I’m a very optimistic and motivating person.
I’ve been blogging in English here. http://yumiyumayume.wordpress.com/
If you have extra time, please leave your comment. I’ve been introducing about Japanese culture there.
Thanks for checking out my page. If you are a Japanese learner and want to improve your comprehension skills, I can help you in both English and Japanese. So, please contact me. Let’s help each other!
