Recently, I have been doing dictation while watching American kid's TV shows every day. It is really useful and helpful to improve my hearing skills for me. Because I can learn natural useful English phrases perfectly. In addition to that, I can make sure my hearing abilities. Therefore, I've watched the shows for two minutes to do dictation every day.
After I do dictation, I ask my best American friend, Zac, to correct my sentences. I also help his dictation of Japanese cartoons.
When I listen to English, I always guess what native English speakers say, and I understand what they say. The shows aren't hard for me to understand. However, after I did dictation, I can make sure how my listening abilities are low.
It is hard for me to make perfect sentences in English even though I can understand what they say. I can't catch the sounds link to next words( American accented English is like that). I always miss up " a", " the", " it" and so on. Therefore, through doing dictation, I would like to be used to hearing American accented English more. If I can understand how the sounds link, I can understand American accented English more. Although I've done dictation with beginner level right now, I want to challenge harder level step by step.
I'm looking forward to that it is efficiently for me to improve my hearing abilities. I'm sure that I would be able to enjoy watching American TV shows without subtitles in the future.

I'm Trying To Take Dictations.
Recently, I have been taking dictations everyday while watching American kid's TV shows..
It is really useful and helpful to improve my comprehension skills for me.
Because I canlearn natural useful English phrases accurately.
In addition to that, I can improve my comprehension abilities.
Therefore, I've watched the shows for two minutes everyday to take dictations.
After I take dictations, I ask my best American friend, Zac, to correct my sentences.
I also help his dictations of Japanese cartoons.
When I listen to English, I always guess what native English speakers would say, and then I understand what they say.
However, after I take dictations, I realize how poor my comprehension skills are.
It is hard for me to make perfect sentences in English even though I can understand what is being said.
I can't catch the sounds that link the words to follow them( American accented English is like that).
I always make mistakes with " a", " the", " it" and so on.
Therefore, through taking dictations, I would like to get more used to hearing American accented English.
If I can understand how the sounds link, I can better understand American accented English.
Although I'm taking dictations on a beginner's level right now, I want to increase the level of difficulty step by step.
I'm looking forward to it efficiently improving my comprehension skills.
I'm sure that I will be able to enjoy watching American TV shows without subtitles in the future.
I'm sure you will, too! ^0^ And just a hint; dictations are not "done", they are "taken".
Good luck with your new goal! ^0^ Merry Christmas!
Thank you as always for the correction, Sarahu-san. I didn't know if I want to say ディクテイションをする, I must say that I take dictations. Thank you so much for teaching me it! I also learn natural phrases from you everyday. Therefore, I appreciate you a lot!!!

I'm Trying To Take Dictations.
After I followed dictation,s I ask my best American friend, Zac, to correct my sentences.
I also helped Zac, directing him through Japanese cartoons.
That shows that It isn'thard for me to understand.
Merry Christmas Yumi!!!
Your goals will be DOUBLED and maybe TRIPLED!!! I'm just telling you that your goals will be met!
Hi, Eddy. コメントありがとう。エディの英語ディクテするの難しそうだなぁ。でも、やってみたい気もするけれど。
エディの英語はアメリカ英語とは全く違うんだよね。イギリス英語とも違う。いつか、エディの英語もディクテさせてね!楽しみにしてるよ。
Hi, Brandon. Thank you so much for the correction and thank you also for encourrageing me a lot!
I hope that I can improve whole my English abilities through taking dictations, too.
遅くなりましたが、Merry Christmas!!
どんなテレビをみてるんですか。
楽しんでがんばってください。^^
僕も最近音読とディクテーションをしようかと思ってます。
どちらも自宅でないとできないので、毎日とはいかないですが、
僕の低いリスニング力をなんとか強化できないかと模索中です。^^;
Sineさん、コメントありがとうございました。カイユという番組をディクテーションしています。見るととっても簡単で、内容はほぼ90パーセントわかるのですが、ディクテしようとすると完璧な文章が書けないんですよ。いつも簡単な音を飛ばしたり、余分につけ足したりしています。だから、とてもいい勉強になりますよ。ついでに、日常会話で使う表現も勉強できるので、これさえわかれば、もう十分アメリカで生活できそうです。
