Recently, I have been doing dictation while watching American kid's TV shows every day. It is really useful and helpful to improve my hearing skills for me. Because I can learn natural useful English phrases perfectly. In addition to that, I can make sure my hearing abilities. Therefore, I've watched the shows for two minutes to do dictation every day.

After I do dictation, I ask my best American friend, Zac, to correct my sentences. I also help his dictation of Japanese cartoons.

When I listen to English, I always guess what native English speakers say, and I understand what they say. The shows aren't hard for me to understand. However, after I did dictation, I can make sure how my listening abilities are low.
It is hard for me to make perfect sentences in English even though I can understand what they say. I can't catch the sounds link to next words( American accented English is like that). I always miss up " a", " the", " it" and so on. Therefore, through doing dictation, I would like to be used to hearing American accented English more. If I can understand how the sounds link, I can understand American accented English more. Although I've done dictation with beginner level right now, I want to challenge harder level step by step.
I'm looking forward to that it is efficiently for me to improve my hearing abilities. I'm sure that I would be able to enjoy watching American TV shows without subtitles in the future.
