I've just started to read 'Holes'. It is an English book. I read several pages, but it is really fun!
I've been reading an other English book, but it is too thick for me.
And I got tired to read it.
Therefore, I had an idea to try to read an other book.Then, after I finish to read it , I will be back the book.
I think this idea is good. I sometimes exchange the book which I'm reading right now to an other book even Japanese book.
If I get tired to read it.
I can be refresh because of changing the book.
After reading this book, I will write about the book; how I felt, how I thought, and so on.

I [have only] read several pages, but it is really fun! Butを使ったので、onlyを入れた方がいい自然に聞こえると思います。入れないのなら、andを使った方がいいと思います。

HOLESを呼んだことないんですが、面白いそうです。本を読むのが難しいんですね。
私もはじめて日本語の本を読もうとした時、えらい大きい本を選んでしまいました。ブレイブストーリーというアニメを映画館で見てて、子供向けだったし、基づいている本を呼んでみようかなと甘く思ってしまいました。本屋さんに行くと４００ページずつの上中下もありました。あらら、と思いましたが、一応買って、一度目、上の４０ページぐらいしかできなくて、2度目、１００ページも行きました。そして、３度目やっと読めました。三回を含めて一巻目が一年間以上かかりました。
本を頑張ってください。なれてきたら、スピードもかなり早くなります。

Changing the book refreshes me. (This sounds more natural.)
I never read "Holes," but I saw the movie for it. I think that's the same story you're talking about. It was a pretty good movie.

I've read Holes, that was really good, but it's a bit long and tough, isn't it.
If you like Holes, then try out other titles from Marvin Redpost series by the same author, Lous Sachar. Marvin's series are all much easier than holes.

I had red the book.
It is the favoritest book I read last year.
This book was easier to read than other books and amount of pages was suitable book.
What sentences do you like in the book?
I was interested in learning English spells.
I'v been reading another book, but the book is hard to read for me.
I read the book about 150 pages one month, but amount of pages are 680 pages, ^^;

After I read it, I want to try to watch the movie without subtitle.

I think you always get suspicious at some point if you've understood the story right, if you don't know the language well enough and there are some unexpected turns in the plot. I'm quite sure it'll be like that in Holes. Good luck and have fun reading! You definitely picked a good one! :)
