Fangirls (Black Butler) Part 3
Do you know the word, fangirl? I knew it from a chat message of a manga. According to Urban dictionary, a fangirl is a rabid breed of human female who is obesessed with either a fictional character or an actor. Similar to the breed of fanboy.
I saw an anime, Black Butler season 2 yesterday. I enjoyed it but I thought it was made for fangirls. It was kind a love and hate drama of the handsome men and boys. I thought the first season was better as a story than the second one. The second one is completely original story made by the anime production. Maybe they made the story to answer fangirls’ requests.
There is a term, ‘fujoshi’ (腐女子 = rotten girls?) in Japan.
It means fangirls who like boys’ love. The term 'fujoshi' is a homophonous pun on fujoshi (婦女子), a term for respectable women, created by replacing the character 婦 (pronounced fu), meaning married woman or lady, with the character 腐 (also pronounced fu), meaning fermented or rotten.
One day, those fangirls said that they loved homosexual boys because they were rotten at heart. It was just a joke and since then, those kinds of fangirls have been called ‘fujoshi’. When I hear the term, somehow, I feel a little ashamed.
All scenes of Black Butler season 2 were beautiful and the leading character was cool as usual.
I'm sure that the second season is winning popularity mainly among fangirls in the world.

The second one is a completely original story made by the anime producers.
Depending on the context, it could either be "adapted from the anime" (taken from the plot of the anime), or "made by the anime producers" (written by the same people that made the anime).
Maybe they made the story to answer the fangirls’ requests.
One day, those fangirls said that they loved homosex boys because they were rotten at heart.
"Homosex" works fine as internet slang, but in any kind of serious context, you'll want to use "homosexual".
Your English is good, by the way.
They probably made the story/it as fanservice. also slang
It describes fangirls who like boy-on-boy/man-on-man/guy-on-guy love stories.
The term 'fujoshi' is a play on the word fujoshi (婦女子), a term for respectable women, created by replacing the character 婦 (pronounced fu), meaning a married woman or lady, with the character 腐 (also pronounced fu), meaning fermented or rotten. hahahaha
I was kind an Otaku when I was as young as your students.
Maybe I'm still an Otaku and an engineer. Are you brave to go yaoi section? Sugoi! I can't do. I feel embarrassed to read those rotten stories, even though the boys in the stories are as beautiful as young girls. In my opinion, the boys are not true male but something like imaginary beautiful androgynous ones. Or the boys may be those fangirls themselves.
ちげえよ!I said "accidentally"!
The only shojo manga I ever got into was "Hotman." It was really interesting and I learned a lot of useful Japanese since the story was about family and health. Check it out when you're not crying at work.

I think fangirls outside of Japan are more powerful than those in Japan. They don't look feel ashamed at all. Of course, I have no courage to join them. Anyhow, they are good customers for movies and anime makers.
