I'm sad
I have crayfish as pets for about 6 months. I got them in the river near my house. I have three in a tank. They are looks same, but their characters are very individual. I named them after their characters. The biggest crayfish in the tank is called “くいしんぼう“ which means a big eater, because he love eating and bite foods immediately when I feed. Another one is called “ひっきー“ which means stay-at –home, because he hide very small space between stones. The last one is called “てなし“ which means no hand, because he lost his right claw when he fought with other crayfish. They are funny.
During the winter, they were relatively quiet, but recently spring is coming and they move actively. And accidents were suddenly happened. Two of the crayfish died. “ひっきー“escaped from a tank and he was dried up. The next day, another crayfish “くいしんぼう“tried to shed the skin but he failed it. A shedding their skin is difficult, especially for big crayfish. Now, only“てなし“is alive. It is because he doesn’t move actively. Hmm, Active is not good…?

I have had crayfish as pets for about 6 months.
I caught them in a river near my house.
They all look the same, but their characters are very different.
The biggest crayfish in the tank is called “くいしんぼう“ which means a big eater, because he love eating and bites food immediately when I feed them.
Another one is called “ひっきー“ which means stay-at –home, because he hides in very small spaces between stones.
The last one is called “てなし“ which means no hand, because he lost his right claw when he fought with the other crayfish.
During the winter, they were relatively quiet, but recently spring is coming and they have become more active.
And accidents were suddenly happening.
“ひっきー“escaped fromthe tank and he was dried up.
The next day, another crayfish “くいしんぼう“tried to shed his skin but he failed to do so.
The shedding of their skin is difficult, especially for big crayfish.
It is because he isn't so active.
Hmm, is being active is not good…?
Hmmmm.... Maybe being active isn't such a good thing after all.
Actually, XX isn't such a good thing.
I named them after their characters/personalities.
During winter, they were relatively quiet, but as spring comes near they have become more active.
And suddenly, accidents started to happen.
Thank you for correcting my English.
I'm sorry to hear about your frog.
Another crayfish is too quiet to eat, so I worry about him. When it become worm, I want to catch crayfish again.
Thank you for teaching me useful expression.
I try to use it.
What did you have as your pets?
We enjoy our pets when they are fine, but we feel sad when they die, don't we?
