How was this year?

There are just a few days left of this year. How was the year for you? It was a tough year for me...

I had many things this year, even though I did not do anything special. I did many activities, I met many new people, I had many friends left from my town, I started new things,... I have been emotionally tied. I like to do many things better than to be just ordinary, but this year was too much for me.


今年もあと残り数日ですが、みなさん今年はどんな年でしたか？私は大変な年でした・・・

おそろしくいろいろあった。何か特別大きなことをしたわけではないんだけど、いっぱい活動もしたし、たくさんの人に会ったし別れたし、新しいことも始めたし、行動したし、、、精神的に疲れた。私は平凡平和よりもいろいろあるほうが好きなんだけど、今年は”もういい加減にして”という状況に(笑）

-Research (it's my job)
-Teaching undergrad students
-Moving my lab
-Studying English (e.g. tutoring, homework, conversation circles, meeting with conversation partners, and Lang-8!)
-Starting my green card application (actually, it's a heavy burden!）
-Volunteer at a bird rescue center every week for four months
-Volunteer at nature area preservation for three times
-Taking swing dance classes every week
-Attending open dance every week
-Taking Tango classes for two months
-Having many apartment parties
-Camping
-bar-hopping&clubbing
-Attending my friend's wedding for my first time
-Going to watch a collage football game and becoming a football fun.
-Breaking up with my boyfriend
-Rejecting guys & being rejected by guys, lol
-many other things...


When it became December, I hoped that I would not have many things the rest of this year. But the hope did not come true and I had really busy days. And then, I hoped that at least the last week would be peaceful for me but I got some very bad event. I cannot help crying.
But the rest of this year, today and New Year's eve, I will hang out with my friends and drink, it should be good days.

12月に入って、もうあとはおとなしく・・・と思っていたけど、そこからがまた忙しく、せめて今年最後の一週間は家で平和にという願いは、ある出来事で完全に打ちのめされ。もう泣くしかない(笑）
残り、今日とNew Year's eveは友達らとhang outして飲んでわめいて（？）過ごすので、きっといい年越しになるに違いない。
