I didn't know that it's very efficient way to tell distress to an other person.
他人に悩みを打ち明けるのがこんなに効果的だとは思わなかった。
So I never thought that I can help other people by this way.
まして自分が他人をこの方法で助けれるとは考えもしなかった。
I know, I was vain.I always wanted to solve everything by myself and didn't want to use other's help.
前から知ってたけど、俺は見栄っ張りだ。いつも独力で物事を成そうとしてたし、他人の助けを使いたがらなかった。

However,my mindset has changed.
だけど、俺の考え方が変わってきている。
Nowadays I'm trying to tell what I'm hanging up to my friends.
最近は俺が何を悩んでいるのか友達に伝えるように努めている。
The reason is that this is one of ways to show them my faith in them.
それが彼らに信頼を示すひとつの手段であるから。

  • I didn't know that it's very efficient way to tell distress to an other person.
  • I never knew (or "realized") that sharing your troubles with others could be so effective.

  • So I never thought that I can help other people by this way.
  • Likewise, I never knew (or "realized") that I could also help others using this approach.

  • I know, I was vain.
  • I know that I've always been a vain person.

  • I always wanted to solve everything by myself and didn't want to use other's help.
  • I always wanted to do things on my own, never accepting the help of others.

  • However,my mindset has changed.
  • However, my mindset has changed. (100%完璧)

  • Nowadays I'm trying to tell what I'm hanging up to my friends.
  • Nowadays, I try to let my friends in on what's troubling me. (The phrasal verb "hang up", as in 悩み, can't be used like this. You can say "I have a hang up with this" or "She has a hang up about those types of guys" or ask someone "What's your hang up?", but changing the conjugation of "hang" can change the meaning entirely. "Hanging up" means "Ending a phone call". "Hung up" means either "Ended a phone call" or "Experienced a delay" depending on context. Heck, even saying "What's the hang up?" instead of "What's your hang up?" changes the meaning! Yeah, phrasal verbs are really weird like that.)

  • The reason is that this is one of ways to show them my faith in them.
  • It's just one way of showing my faith in them.

Interesting. Maybe I should start caring more for my friends instead of firing them.
