Do you know the "window periods"?

We call it the time before three weeks-6 months the HIV antibodies are made.
On the HIV test, we can't get the true result during the time.
That's why our test doesn't show the true result because the antibodies aren't made enough to detect.

Please understand it if you have a test.

Visit our office after one month you made love.

English euphemisms are interesting, aren't they? :)

Euphemism examples:
toilet = washroom, restroom
drunk = tipsy
to die = to pass away
fat = husky (男), chubby(女の子)

日本語でもありますね。
例えば、「死んだ」より「なくなった」の方がていねいですね。
「トイレ=お手洗い」とか。。。

"Make love" is only for sex with love. As a euphemism, I hate that expression. If you're getting an AIDS test after having sex, it probably wasn't the "making love" type of sex, don't you think?

"unprotected sex" is more accurate because it means without protection.
Protection is a euphemism for condom, of course.

Hi Anna.
Thanks for many informations.

I used the "make love" due to a euphemism, but you corrected it.
At first I was confused, but I thought I had better use the direct word.
Now I understood it completely.
