A friend of mine is working at a hospital.
He is an office worker, not an engineer.
As for the office workers, there is two types.
First is a person who works in front of the counter to count the fee.
Second is a person who deals with some chores in the hospital.
For example, these are employment of the hospital staff members , change the fluorescent lamp and etc.
My friend is a later.
I used " a clerk" when I introduced him to a foreigner.
Then she said "it isn't proper word ".
She added "the clerk" is a person who works in front of a counter.
I said again "an officer", but my answer seemed to be not appropriate.
Please teach appropriate words.

I read the English English dictionary, it almost matches.

At the next time, I'll try it.

I'll read it after sending reply.
However, I'm lucky to have got two answers.

However he has other tasks except a cleaner.
I'm sorry because my explanation is so poor.
