Formulas can always be seen in mathematics , physics or even biology studies. Yet ,I discovered that I can have my own formula as well ,that is , confidence + commitment = happiness.

I am a very simple and optimistic person. And, I always believe that without happiness in his or her life , he or she will never be able to do anything successfully. In July 2010 which was the month of Charm Cheerleading Championship ,my cheerleading team called Bulletz All Star had been training so hard to get prepared mentally and physically for the much awaited day. As our team ran out of strong male cheerleader at that moment, I was instructed by me coach, Steven Lee to carry a 56 kg girl while I was only 50 kg. He just kept shouting ,“DON’T SAT YOU CAN’T BEFORE TRYING”. With the encouragement and courage given by my coach, eventually I held a girl with one of her leg standing on my palm with all my might. From that moment onwards, I realized that confidence can be promoted my others but can only be built by ourselves.

Apart from that, I am always a jovial to everyone around me. They enjoy talking to me as they claimed that I can enlighten them like a burning candle. That is why I am always cheerful. In order to make changes and improvement in my life ,merely depending on confidence will never be enough if commitment is overlooked. Whenever I am assigned to something , goal setting is a must for me in order to boost my commitment and confidence in accomplishing a task. I will never look at failures as failure , never look at sadness as sadness , It is actually just a matter to deal with in our mindsets. By having a correct mindset , I promised to play my role well as the President of Research And Development Club in my school. A committed person like me would always think positively whenever we encountered any obstacle. Besides, a slogan “JUST DO IT” was shared among my committee members frequently as I learnt that action speak lounder. Most of the time , we think while we do because our progress in carrying out activities would be less progressive if we think before we do.

I am happy with the way I do my tasks as a leader, a student, a son and a cheerleader so far. Someone might ask me ,”WHY DO YOU THING YOU ARE SO GREAT CHONG CHIEW FOONG?” I would just say” I HAVE NEVER SAID I AM GREAT.” I have no worries listening to criticism , as I know that it is impossible to satisfy everyone and to make everyone likes me. Yet , I will always try to convey the message about how I obtain happiness in my daily life so that all people around me will have their own formula towards happiness.

After receiving SPM trail results , I had been thinking of countless ways to realizes my dream which can be something next to impossible to me .alternative ways are forced to be found when the other ways ended up as a failure.

First and foremost, I planned to pursue my dream in IMU as I was qualified to get the foundation’s scholarship .once I told my parents about this ,my happiness was kicked away by doubts and sadness from them .They said “What if you could not get any scholarships after your foundation and getting loans will be a burden for you.

Yet, my stimulants started to reactivate from despair after coming across the Honda Dream Fund .I tried to apply for this Honda dream Fund without contemplating much as its popularity makes me confident to take the first step towards my dream .As long as I can become a dentist ,I will do everything that a 18-year-old boy can do ,as an idiom says “Every Dong Has His Day.”

I can reconfirm that my life belongs to dentistry’s world after exposing to countless laboratory equipments. This is because I am still dealing with some kind of work like asset tagging when writing this essay. I met a lot of people from all walks and large variety of equipments which strengthen my will to apply for this fund.

Merely depending on my diligence and potential is not enough for me to further enhance the contribution of dentists. Without certain qualifications, experience and exposure, it is again impossible for me to make my dream comes true.

The purpose of striving for my goal is not merely to deal with the problems about teeth, filling up the shortage of dentists in Malaysia is part of my dream too. Dreaming of beautifying our teeth, dreaming of making the teeth to be able to absorb nutrients directly from food, dreaming of pursuing my study in IMU……etc. Having a special team with highly motivated, inspired, creative and ambitious members are needed to turn dreams into realities. I would like to be part of it.

Right here and right now, Honda is offering me a golden opportunity to make my dreams come true .It is an opportunity which will not knock on my door twice .Even something impossible can be made possible with my heartfelt actions.

He acted so slowly through out the day.

I was so energetic to finish my work but he delayed everthing.

I do assets tagging for big company.

I is quite a good job for me as a 17-year -old boy.

They pay me Rm50 per day.......just work for 9 hours.

Haha...I will make good use of it.
