In modern society, most people think professors earn lots of money in the university and doing complicated research, but they seldom worry about if students absorb the knowledge teaching in the class. However, without studying hard in the lab and money, professors wouldn’t learn the most important knowledge in the world to give to students. In my opinion, government should increase professors’ salaries to improve their quality of education.

First of all, the professor with enough money could buy more textbooks that published in other countries to study, and they don’t have to worry about if they can afford what their family need, so they must concentrate on how to improve the educational quality. On the other hand, if a professor doesn’t earn adequate salaries, they probably will use their knowledge to do something illegal, like producing poison. Moreover, professor with less stress could teach happily in the class and spend more time on their student.

In addition, professors who gain more money won’t lose interest in teaching student, and can do more things what they want to do while they have free time. For instance, my uncle who is a professor travels around the world in the summer vacation every year shares his experience in the class, becoming the most famous teacher in his school. In contrast, professors with no money couldn’t broaden their horizons to satisfy students’ desire.

It is clear that professors should earn more money to improve the quality of higher education. The more money they gain, the hard they teach. Professsors with lots of money always have less things to worry about, and they could spend more time gaining more useful knowledge in what they teach and making a high quality class.
