In the morning, a staff member came to my desk to ask me sign on a contract.
When I signed on it with the date, I talked to myself that today was my 44th birthday, time had passed so fast.
Since she heard my murmuring, she celebrated me briefly.
In the afternoon, young ladies in my office came to me suddenly and celebrated my birthday with a birthday cake.
I was glad but embarrassed.
It seemed as if I asked them to do.
I wonder how I will celebrate their eacch birthday.

In the morning, a staff member came to my desk to ask me to sign on a contract.
When I signed on it with the date, I talked to myself saying that today was my 44th birthday, time had passed so fast.
Since she heard my murmuring, she briefly wished me a happy birthday.
It seemed as if I asked them to do it.
I wonder how I will celebrate each of their eacch birthdays.
When I signed on it with the date, I mumbled to myself that today was my 44th birthday; time had passed so fast.
In the afternoon, the (or some) young ladies in my office surprised me with a birthday cake.
Embarassing Situation
"Disgraceful" would be better suited to something that's really bad.
When/As I signed and dated it, I remarked (quietly) to myself that today was my 44th birthday, time had passed so fast.
Since she heard my murmuring, she congratulated me briefly.
I was glad/pleased but embarrassed.
It seemed as if I asked them to do it//.It might have looked like I had deliberatly mentioned my birthday.
It works like this: The person who had the last birthday would be responsible for getting cake and a card for you. Everyone in the office signs the card in advance and then everyone enjoys cake on your birthday. When the next person's birthday arrives, the administrator would tell you (Akira) that it's your turn to buy the cake and card for the them, using the money collected by the club.
It's a good system for us, because it makes sure everyone's birthday gets celebrated and everyone contributes to the cost. Any extra money at the end of the year is used to have a pizza party in January.
BTW, our boss didn't tell us to make this club, he only suggested it as a possibility, because some people had a birthday party at the office and some people didn't and some people complained it wasn't fair not to celebrate everyone's birthday. He suggested this would be a good way to make sure we celebrate everyone's birthday but everyone had to volunteer to participate in order for it to work. Fortunately, everyone liked the plan, so we did it.
Disgraceful Situation
I agree with andrewjgrimm. For it to be disgraceful, something bad or wrong has to have occurred. Embarrassing however, does not necessarily mean something bad.
