(D) Of course I don't know all (of) the Japanese cities, but I'm sure Kyoto is more comfortable to live in than any other city.


Which sentence(s) do you think sound(s) natural in this situation?

  • (B) Of course I don't know about all (of) the cities in Japan, but I'm sure Kyoto is more comfortable to live in than any other city.

 

  • (C) Of course I don't know all Japanese cities, but I'm sure Kyoto is more comfortable to live in than any other city.
  • (C) Of course I don't know about all Japanese cities, but I'm sure Kyoto is more comfortable to live in than any other city.

 

  • (D) Of course I don't know all (of) the Japanese cities, but I'm sure Kyoto is more comfortable to live in than any other city.

With my corrections, all these sentences are acceptable. However I think (A) (with my changes) is the best.
