I think that the age of majority should be reduced to 18.
I have two reasons for this.

Opinion about the age of adulthood.
This is my translation of someone's opinion about the age of adulthood in Japan, which is currently 20 years old.
First, being treated as adults will encourage young people to be conscious of their responsibility as members of society.
Second, lowering the age of adulthood will be essential for Japan not to fall behind in international competitiveness, because it's 18 in many other countries.
(I think the age of majority should be 30. With rare exceptions, most people in their twenties don't behave like adults, at least around here.)
Actually I think so too, including me ...
It seems I have to learn more about social behavior.
