　始めまして、私はジュンヨンと申します。

한국 나이로 26살, 일본 나이로 24살이며, 서강대학교 컴퓨터학과 3학년을 휴학 중입니다.
　韓国の歳で26歳、日本の歳で24歳で西江大学のコンピューター 工学科の三年生ですが、休学中です。

2006년 6월부터 방위산업체에서 근무 중이며, 2년 10개월의 근무가 오늘 부로 종료되었습니다.
　2006年６月から軍隊の代わりに会社で働いていましたが２年１０ケ月の勤務が今日終わりました。

다가오는 여름에는 남미 지역으로 해외 봉사 활동을 계획하고 있으며, 9월에는 6학기로 복학 할 예정입니다.
　今年の夏には南アメリカへ海外ボランテイアをしに行く計画で、９月には三年生の後期に復学する予定です。

제가 현재 사용하거나 공부 중인 언어는 모국어인 한국어를 포함해 영어, 일본어, 프랑스어가 있으며, 이번 다개국어 스터디에서는 한국어, 영어, 일본어로 speech를 할 예정입니다.
　私がいま使ったり勉強中の外国語は、母国語である韓国語を含めて、英語、日本語、フランス語で、今回の多国語スタデイでは韓国語、英語、日本語でスピーチをする予定です。

2011년까지 프랑스어와 스페인어까지 배우는 것이 목표이고, 이 스터디가 많은 도움이 되면 좋겠습니다.
　２０１１年でにフランス語とスペイン語まで学ぶことが目標で、このスタデイは大きな助けになれば良いと思っています。

제가 일본어에 관심을 가지게 된 것은 어린 시절 오역 투성이인 일본 게임들을 하면서부터 입니다.
　私が日本語に関心を持つようになったのは、小さい頃翻訳が間違いだらけの日本のゲームをした時でした。

그리고 처음으로 일본어 공부를 하게 된 것은 고등학교 때 제 2 외국어로 일본어를 선택 한 뒤부터 입니다.
　そして初めに日本語を勉強するようになったのは、高校の時第二外国語で日本語を選択した時からです。

그러나 대학 진학 후 히라가나까지 잊어버리고, 2년전쯤 다시 일본어에 관심이 생겨 일본 드라마를 보면서 공부를 시작했습니다.
　しかし、大学進学のあと、ひらがなまで忘れてしまいました。二年前頃、また日本語に関心をもったので、日本のドラマを見ながら勉強を始めました。

이제 아주 기본적인 문장들을 사용 할 수 있으며 이 자기소개는 일본 친구의 도움을 잔뜩 받아 완성한 것입니다.
　今では、とても基本的な文章を作る事ができてこの自己紹介は日本人の友達の助けをたくさん借りて完成したものです。

그리고 이 발표는 제가 일본어로 하는 첫 발표입니다.
　そして、この発表は私が日本語でする始めての発表です。

앞으로도 어색한 표현, 발음, 문법 등에 조언 부탁드립니다.
　これからも不自然な表現、発音、文法などがあったら教えてください。

언어와 문화를 좋아하고 사람 사귀는 일도 무척 좋아합니다.
　外国語と文化が好きで、人と関わり合うこともとても好きです。

언어를 배우게 되는 대부분의 계기도 해당 언어를 사용하는 분들과의 의사소통입니다.
　外国語を習う理由も、その国の言葉を使う人人と交流したいからです。

이런 모임에 나와 다양한 분들을 알게 되는 것도 좋고, 끝나고 뒷풀이에 가서 맥주 한 잔 하는 것도 매우 좋아합니다.
　この集まりに参加して様々な人と知り合うのも良く、終わってから打ち上げに行ってビールを一杯飲むこともとても好きです。

마음 맞는 분들과 여기저기 놀러도 가고, 안부를 주고 받으면서 서로 발전하고 나아지는 모습을 보고 싶습니다.
　気の会う人とあちこちに遊びに行きたいし、連絡をし合って、勉強などお互い成長できたらいいです。

이것으로 자기소개를 마치겠습니다.
　これで自己紹介を終わります。

안녕하세요 서준용, Brad 입니다. 한국 나이로 26살, International Age로 24살이고, 현재 서강대학교 컴퓨터학부 휴학 중이며, 방위 산업체에 복무중입니다. 다음 주말인 2009년 4월 10일부로 2년 10개월의 의무복무 기간이 만료되고, (smile) 여름에는 해외봉사활동을 계획하고 있으며 돌아오는 9월에 6학기로 복학 예정입니다.

Hi all, it’s good to see you all here. My name is Junyong and English name is Brad. I’m 26 years old in Korean age and 24 years old in international age. To make your calculation easier, I was born in December, 1984. I’m a student of Sogang University which places in a Shinchon area. My major is Computer Science but I’m currently taking semesters off to fulfill my military duty. Since 2006, I’ve been working for an alternative military service, in a Korean word ‘방위산업체’, which it will be ended in a week. I worked there for 2 years and 10 months so I’m really happy that I will be free of duty from the next week.

Therefore, I’m planning to go abroad for a volunteer before I go back to the University. I just applied for KIV - Korean Internet Volunteer, sponsored by Korean Government to ease a technology gap between countries and to spread about Korean cultures. If I am allowed to go, I will be back in August and will be back to the University on September as my sixth semester.

제가 현재 사용하거나 공부중인 언어는 모국어인 한국어 외에 영어, 일본어, 프랑스어가 있으며 이번 다개국어 스터디에서는 한국어, 영어와 일본어로 speech 를 할 예정입니다. 프랑스어와 스페인어까지 배우는 것이 목표이고, 이번 여름에 파라과이에 갈 수 있게 된다면 여행용 스페인어도 배우려고 합니다. 한국어 및 관심 언어에 대해서 질책이나 칭찬 (smile) 부탁드립니다.

I speak Korean as my mother tongue, and I study English and Japanese. So I’ll make speeches in Korean, English and Japanese. I also have interests in French and Spanish so my goal is to be able to speak those 5 languages by 2011. So I’m looking forward visiting Paraguay this summer, so I can learn or practice some Spanish while I’m there.

각 언어의 수준은 한국어의 경우, 모국어이며, 책 읽기와 온라인에 글을 쓰는 것을 좋아합니다. 영어의 경우는 제 1 외국어로 한국에서 정규 교육과정과 대학 과정을 거치고 있는 많은 분들처럼 (이론상으로, 혹은 literally) 10년 이상 공부해왔습니다. 또한 중학교 때 1년간 미국 Seattle에서 중학교를 다녔던 경험과 2006년에 5 개월간 미국 Maryland에서 어학코스를 수료한 경험이 바탕이 되고 있습니다. 덕분에 말하고 듣기에 대한 거부감은 상대적으로 적지만 문법, 어휘 등의 부분에는 약한 편입니다. 꾸준히 책을 읽고, 다개국어 스터디에서의 speech를 통해 향상을 이루었으면 하는 부분입니다. 일본어의 경우는 고등학교 시절 제 2 외국어로 공부하였으나, 대학 진학 후 히라가나까지 잊어버린 뒤, 일본어에 다시 관심이 생겨 일본 드라마를 보며 공부를 시작했습니다. 관심을 가진지는 벌써 2년이 넘었으나, 이제 카타카나를 간신히 읽는 수준이고 아주 기본적인 문장만을 사용 할 수 있습니다. (일본어 문장 사용하기) 많이 부족하지만 Speech 를 준비하는 과정을 통해 공부하려고 합니다. 프랑스어와 스페인어는 아직 아무 것도 할 수 있는 단계가 아니지만 언제나 관심만은 가지고 있습니다. 한국어를 포함하여 문법, 맞춤법, 어색한 표현, 발음 등에 대해 많은 Feedback 주시면 감사하겠습니다.

For the level of my languages, Korean is a mother tongue and I like to read books and writing anything on-line. I’m keeping my diary on Cyworld, and I’m about to start my own blog soon.

For my English, like other Korean people who have been grown up in Korea, I studied English more than 10 years, literally. And I spent a year in Seattle when I was 14, my English improved a lot at that time hanging out with friends there. And on 2006, I’ve been to Maryland for 5 months and I took a language course for one semester. Those experiences helped me to speak English this much, but I want to be fluent by making and preparing speeches thru here.

And Japanese, which has been my interests since my childhood playing Japanese games that wasn’t translated properly, is still a beginner level. I chose Japanese as my second language in my high school days, but I totally forgot even Hiragana and Katakana. I started all over again nearly 2 years ago by watching J-dramas and movies. I just read and write elementary words and sentences but will make speeches by preparing and practicing.

Please give an honest feedback with my grammars, vocabularies, awkward expressions or broken-languages. I would really appreciate it.

다개국어 스터디에 참여하게 된 계기는 역시나(?) 선현우님과의 인연이 계기가 되었습니다. ‘한링고’ 라는 언어교환 Site에서 활동을 하다가 정모에 나가게 되었고, 해당 정모에서 Speech 를 하시는 선현우님을 알게 되었습니다. 그 후 그 분의 Blog 를 구독하였고 현재는 함께 만드는 외국어 방송국, LanguageCast.net 에 참여하고 있습니다. Language Cast에 대해서는 추후에 또 설명드릴 기회가 있으면 좋겠습니다.

What I like beside languages is … meeting various people. I really love to meet new people and find out their own personalities. It has been exciting ever since. My motivation for learning languages also comes from here – to communicate with other people who raised in other cultures that would have differences with mine. So, it’s my pleasure to be here, and expecting 2nd round too.

I’m participating in Language Cast dot net, which is making broadcasts of foreign language talk shows and lessons. I would like to give more information about what Language Cast is on some other time. You can listen to talk shows and lessons of 현우, 경은, Marie, 사토코 and so on. People who you know already are speaking there, so it is interesting and helpful to be familiar with languages. If it sounds interesting to you, don’t hesitate to visit www.languagecast.net. I’m sure that you will like it.

혹시 미국의 형제 그룹 밴드인 'Hanson' 을 아세요? 'Mmmbop' 이라는 노래로 한 때 미국과 영국 모두를 휩쓸었던 밴드인데요, 이 노래가 한창 유행할 때 저는 미국에 있었고, 당신에 정말 좋아하던 친한 친구가 이 그룹을 너무나도 좋아했었습니다. 그중에서 저희랑 나이가 비슷했던 막내 드러머를요. Zachary Walker Hanson. 당시에 처음으로 ID를 만들 때, 'a' 와 'e' 를 잘못 알아서 Zachary 를 Zechery 라고 만들었는데, 덕분에 어느 Site를 가도 ID가 겹치지 않게 되서 쭉 쓰고 있습니다. 금발에 푸른 눈을 가진 왈가닥 소녀와의 짧은 추억이 떠오르는 아이디이죠. :)

Have you heard a brothers band named 'Hanson'?

They were very popular in both US and UK with a song 'Mmmbop'.

When the time they were sweaping the world with that song, I was in US.

And a girl I liked, loved this band especially who were the youngest in brothers - drummer Zachary Walker Hanson.

At that time, it was first time for me to make an ID for myself, and I confused the spell 'e' and 'a', so I made my ID 'zechery'.

Because of my misspelling, there were no same ID on any other websites.

So I'm still using this ID with a memory of a tomboy girl who had blond colored hair and blue colored eyes. :)

We went to the language exchange party that he has been to before.

It was a small party in Sinchon but it was pretty interesting.

English leaners and Korean learners were sitting on the each side of tables, with a topic, we discussed about the topic or explained words to each other.

I met two Canadian guys, Greg and Knizel, they were nice and eager to learn Korean.

Anyway, after that, Glenn and I left that party and met my friends.

We met HaeYoung and Eri, and had some 닭갈비 and an ice cream cake which HeaYoung eager to have. ^^

And then, we went to 홍대 where HaeYoung works as a singer.

We had beers and watched HaeYoung's singing.

It was really good time with my friends. :)

Glenn is Candian but he has been to Japan for a year and now he is studying Korean and Eri is Chinese who studies English, Japanese and Korean at the same time.

So when Glenn and Eri are talking in Japanese, it's Canadian and Chinese people speak Japanese in Korea. Interesting!! :)

한국에서는 신정과 구정을 모두 기념합니다.

We have 3 consecutive holidays which include the day before and after Lunar New Year's day.

구정을 전후로 하여 3일을 연속으로 쉽니다.

In this period, people visit their hometown to see all their family together.

이 기간 동안 사람들은 가족들을 만나기 위해 고향을 방문합니다.

Since a lot of people live in Seoul instead of their hometown, many people take train or buses to get hometown although full of people and traffics.

많은 사람들이 고향 대신 서울에 살기 때문에, 많은 사람들이나 교통 체증에도 불구하고 버스나 기차를 이용해 귀향을 합니다.

Me, kind of lucky guy, is not going any far away but Incheon which is close city could be reached by metro.

나는 운이 좋아서 (?) 멀리 가지 않고 지하철로 갈 수 있는 근처의 인천에 갑니다.

So I'm spending my time here helping my mother doing some chores, and relaxing.

여기서 집안일을 돕고 쉬면서 시간을 보내고 있습니다.

I gotta charge up myself for another whole year.

이번 한 해를 위해 충전을 해야겠습니다.

I've been thinking of keep a diary, but I start just from now on.

日本語を勉強する時があんまり久しいから難しいです。
일본어 배운지가 오래되서 (일기쓰기가) 너무 어렵습니다.
It's been a long time since I studied Japanese, it is hard to write.

誰が手伝う人がいれば、有難うございます。
누군가 도와주는 사람이 있으면 고맙겠습니다.
I'd appreciate if someone help me to do this.

日本語も英語も助けが必要です。
일본어도 영어도 도움이 필요합니다.
