两年半多前我写上一记录。
It's over two and half years since I wrote my last entry.
那是前很多事发生了。
A lot has happened since then.
我得了到博士，得到了一个工作，长出了胡子，搬家了。
I got a PhD, got a job, got a beard and moved house.
不过我学习中文学习不好。
But I didn't learn much Chinese.
我应该写汉语更多的时候。
I should write Chinese more often.

距离我上一篇日志，已经过了两年半了
那之后发生了很多事
我获得了博士学位，得到了一个工作，长出了胡子，还搬家了。
不过我并没有花太多时间在学习中文上 （this sentence is not directly transferring from your oringal sentence, just I wrote depending on understanding the meaning that you want to express）
我是时候经常练习中文了。（as same as last sentence）

我应该多写写汉语了。
