El Hotel ha reabierto sus puertas recientemente (verano 2009), tras unas completas obras de remodelación que han transformado totalmente su interior.

L’Hôtel a reouvert ses portes récemment (l’été du 2009), après des complètes travaux de rénovation qui ont transformé son intérieur totalement.

I’m very excited for your arrival. I reckon the best time for meeting up is the first week of May because I don’t have to work as my contract of employment will be over.

If you’d like to go to some good local restaurant, I’ll recommend you having lunch in Pepito Bar where all the food is hand-made and besides if you order a snack, you will get a free pint.
I’d love to go to your restaurant in July, but I can’t because I’ll start to work in an important company as a receptionist and I’ll have to spend nine hours a day here.

No, I haven’t. I had a rabbit 5 years ago but one night, my brother forgot to close the door of the cage and next day, we didn’t find it.

can you cook? Who usually cooks at home?

I can’t cook because when my mother or grandmother are cooking, I’m studying, so I never watch how they cook.

Usually, my grandmother cooks while my parents are working but at the weekends my mother always cooks.

Have you ever taken part in a competition?

Yes, I have. I was runner-up with 80 points in a tennis competition last year.

My home town is smaller than Bath and it isn’t so popular with tourists likethis, although the weather in Spain is sunnier than here.


Do you think you will live in Spain for ever?

Yes, I do. Because although I like travelling around Europe, my family and my friends are in Spain and it will be very hard to spend my time without seeing them.


What does your work involve?

I work as a receptionist and I must receive clients and write down their personal details, answer telephone calls, turn the computers on and so on.

What do you hope your life will be like in ten years time?

I hope to be married with a hard-working man and I’d like to have a well-paid job.


Do you play any instrument?

Yes, I do. I used to play piano twice a week in Spain, but here in Bath I have given up.

Ho iniziato a leggere un libro, l’amore a londra e in altri luoghi di Flavio Soriga, ma è molto dificile di comprendere bene perchè cambia l’ordine nei frasi, cioè la frase ha soggetto, verbo e predicato ma non se trova in questo ordine.

Ho guardato anche alcuni film in Italiano per divertimento, per esempio Crepuscolo oppure Escusa ma ti chiamo amore.
Sono studentessa d’Erasmus è ho scelto Bath perchè mi avevano detto che questa università è molto brava e anche la città è una delle più belle d’Inghilterra.

Mi piace moltissimo Bath perchè è piccola ma viva, cioè tutte le notte ci sono feste e molta gente escono per prendere qualcosa nel bar, ma quello che mi dispiace di più è i prezzi dei vestiti oppure del cibo che è molto cari.

Dobbiamo riflexionare sui ventaggi e svantaggi di lasciare il nostro paese davanti di prendere una decisione.

In primo luogo, se lasci il suo paese, imparebbe due lingue straniere e conoscerebbe gente da tutta l'Europa. Imparebbe anche essere più independente e sarebbe una fan dell'euro e dell'Europa Unita.

Sebbene, i principali svantaggi sarebbero che suoi genitori abitano lontani e non ringiovaniscono. D'altra parte, se rimanga molto tempo a Vienna, perderebbe tanti amici a causa della lontanza.
Inoltre, se pensi al bravissimo cibo italiano e lo compari con i vienese, ritornerebbe all'Italia in fretta.

Infine, penso che se fosse Manuela, ritornerai al mio paese dopo aver passato 5 anni, benché ottenga un peggiore lavoro.

Quindi, ha deciso di partire all'estero, precisamente a Vienna, dove è vissuta e ancora abita da cinque anni.

All'inizio, è stato difficile per lei di rimanere in un paese che non sia l'Italia, ma ora, all'età di 33 anni, s'è abituata a vivere in Vienna, sebbene stimi a volte il suo paese di nazionalità, la sua famiglia e le sue amiche.

I wasn’t sure that he wasn’t whoever friend, who by chance took her for a drive in his car the other day.

When I saw them in his blue Volvo, they didn’t talk each other nor exchanged glances nor were close in any way.

However they seemed joined in any genre of connexion. Perhaps it was typical their way of not talk and not looked at each other even if they were sited sideway.

Nearly underneath my house I met a blond guy who took Maria for a drive in his Volvo.

I saw him in the light of a street lamp less than two metres away, and even if he wore the same raincoat and the same glasses and the same face from yesterday, he came to my mind only when we were moving thirty metres away.

He had a ready flight ticket for Rio de Janeiro as well. He showed it to me.

He pointed at a geographic map the route of his flight that he intended to do.

He said that it isn’t just a flight, but a kind of emigration.

About twenty of his friends came to say farewell, also Carla and Livia who almost didn’t look at me. I stayed until midnight, then I said my goodbyes and I left.

In the school the most passive among our schoolmates have also started to regret openly about which might study and about how it was teaching.

Teachers have tried to raise their voice, to accentuate the lack of understanding of their explanations for frighten us.

At the beginning, our demands were very reasonable but teachers didn't seem to take it into consideration. Once for example, Guido proposed to the Latin teacher that we read entire books instead of the usual parts od a text with many grammatical examples.

Secondo la giurisdizione, la scelta è un fondamentale principio democratico poiché il cittadino è libero per decidere se tomare le medicine per seguire vivendo o no.

D’altra parte, dobbiamo considerare la qualità della vita. Il dolore e la sofferenza che una persona sperimenta durante una malattia può risultare incomprensibile, anche se trattata con analgesici.

Infine, sono a favore della legalizzazione dell’eutanasia volontaria nel caso che la malattia o la sofferenza di un paziente sia incurabile e dolorose, e sia effettuata con la conoscenza e il permiso dei famigliari.

Per questo, alcuni italiani devono partire dall’Italia se vogliono trovare un ottimo lavoro dove si mette in conto i tuoi abilità e la tua conoscenza e non per conoscere importante gente.

Un altro motivo per il quale gli italiani preferiscono partire all’estereo, c’è perchè i lavori sono a tiempo partiale o stagionali, voglio dire, non sono per tutta la vita. Inoltre lo stipendio è basso in confronto a gli altri paesi della Unione Europea.

Ho molto meravigliose cose per raccontarti. In primo luogo, devo te dire che oggigiorno sono il gerente della ditta dove ho lavorato tutto questo tempo.
Al principio, dovevo lavorare tutte le fine settimana e guadagnavo pochissimo, ma a poco a poco ho migliorato il mio anglese e ho ottenuto un meglio lavoro e ora guadagno molto.

D’altra parte, se non fossi venuto a questa ditta, non sarei conosciuto la mia carina fidanzata che è la mia compagna di lavoro e i miei bravissimi amici inglesi. Loro sono come la mia famiglia qui, poiché comparto una piccola casa con mia tesoro e alcuni amici. Inoltre così puo pagare l’affitto senza nessun problema.

Infine, pensava che il cibo inglese sia un gran problema per me, comunque ho imparato che il ‘fish and chips’ non è l’unico che gli inglesi mangiano e che c’è pasta così buona come l'italiana.

Inoltre, lo stipendio è da capogiro giacchè se lavorassi in Italia in qualsiasi ditta, guadagnei la mezza meno dello che ottenerei a Londra in un anno.

Al contrario, i prezzi delle case sono esorbitanti e trovare una è difficilissimo in confronto alle casse a Pechino dove ho un’amica che vive là e sarà molto contenta di alloggiarmi nel suo appartamento.

Infine, devo te dire che il cibo inglese non è proprio quello che mi piace. A dire il vero, se il cibo inglese fosse così buono come lo italiani, sarei partito dell’Italia molto tempo fa.

Penso che è un lavoro molto duro giachè non hanno un oraro fisso ciò è devono lavorare sia l’ora che sia e mai hanno vacanze estive oppure Natale, al contrario, sono più occupate nelle vacanze.

Thanks for sending your email.
My journey home was very long. I took over three hours because I got lost on the way as my GPS broke down. However, I got to buy a map at a petrol station.

We have many photos, but my favourite is when we went to Madame Tussands’ museum and a picture of us was taken trying to kiss the Prince Charles, each other in a cheek.

Don’t worry about your watch. I found it in the bathroom, in the shelves. I reckon you took your watch off for washing your hands before having lunch.

In September, I’d like to stay on your uncle’s farm in the countryside because I reckon it will be funnier than to stay in a flat without fresh-air. Besides, I love animals.
When I was a child, I used to go to my grandma’s farm for playing with my lovely pony. Does your uncle have one?

Molte cose sgradevoli succedono su Internet comme approcci sessuale, anche puoi trovare immagini pornografiche oppure discussioni su argomenti troppo precoci per i giovani.

D’altra parte, c’è chi si diverte a mardarvi un programa contenente virus oppure sfrutta i segreti delle persone puntando sul grande senso di intimità.

In conclusione, Internet è pericoloso soprattutto per le persone più sprovvedute che abitualmente sono i bambini.

Their parents have quite money, so they belong to upper class.
They have luxury cars like Audi, Mercedes, Jaguar between others ones.
Some boys wear slightly tight trousers with sweater over their shoulders and nautical shoes. Other ones wear underpants 10 cm over trousers with a very tight t-shirt.

Girls normally wear tops, polo shirt, dresses, lots of variety of clothes; handbags very big, huge sunglasses, round pointed tip shoes or converser or high-heeled shoes.

She likes more interpretation than translation because she prefers to speak and listen to some language than write it.
She doesn’t want to become a teacher because she finds this profession very boring since she should teach the same things every year.
Almu thinks she doesn’t have the enough skills to become a good translator or interpreter yet. But she hopes to learn them during her degree.

She loves English language,but she likes German and Italian languages too. In fact she is going to Germany to improve her German for one year. She will try to meet a lot of people in parties; she will go to pubs, clubs ...etc., but she will also study hard because it is not easy to pass subjects in another language she doesn’t know very well.
So, she think Erasmus is a good way to learn other languages if you talk to people from that country and go out with them instead of going out with Spanish people. She hopes to make nice German friends.

Studio tradutione et interpretatione d'anglese, francese è italiano in l'università di Málaga.

Tutti i mondi dicono che l'italiano è trè facile per gli spagnoli mai c'è no vero. I prepozitioni è i verbi ... catzo! sono trè dificile.

I remember when I was a child, my teacher, my friends and I were reading a book and we didn’t understand the meaning of both in the sentence ‘Scarcely had the lion and the tigers arrived in the lake when both animals died of thirst’.
Miss Carolina, what is the meaning of both? Said my friends and me. My teacher said to us that both are referring to the tigers and the lions together.

It is funnier that a person talks you about something and you listen to her/him than to read a book with a small writing without pictures.
