I'm getting ready for my final Korean presentation! We were assigned a random classmate that we have to talk about.
If someone could please look this over and help me with some corrections, I would really appreciate it! But please don't give me too much new grammar, because we're not supposed to use too much that we learned outside of class.
I've included the English translation as well in case I've butchered it so badly that you're not even sure what I'm trying to say.
오늘 저는 여러분이 Marula씨에 대해 말할 거에요.
Today, I'll tell everyone about Marula.
여러분, Marula씨가 알아지요? 항상 웃는 여자예요.
Everyone, you know Marula right? The woman who's always smiling.
저는 Marula씨를 처음 봤을 때부터 좋은 사람인 것 같았어요. 예쁘고 아주 행복하고 독일 사람이지만, 저는 그녀가 잘 몰랐어요. 그래서 그 것을 쓰기 위해서 질문을 많이 물었어요.
When I first saw Marula, she seemed like a good person. Pretty, very happy, German, but I didn't know her well. So to write this I asked her many questions.
Marula씨는 항생 행복한 것 같아서 친구가 많이 있겠어요. 행복한 사람들은 예뻐요. 그래서 Marula씨는 자주 행복하서 아주 예뻐요. 맞아요?
Marula always seems happy, so she's probably got a lot of friends. Happy people are pretty. So because Marula is often happy, she's very pretty. Right?
Marula씨는 열아홉 살이에요. 일월에 생일이에요. 독일에 태어남았지만, 열살 때 Uzbekistan에 옮겼어요. 저는 Uzbekistan이 어디에 몰라요! Marula씨는 저기에 오년 동안 살고 영국에 왔어요.
Marula is 19 years old. Her birthday is in January. She was born in Germany but when she was 10 she moved to Uzbekistan. I don't even know where Uzebekistan is! Marula lived there for 10 years then came to England.
Uzbekistan에서 한국 친구를 많이 하고 옛날 여름에 한국에 가기 때문에 한국어를 배우고 싶어 해요.
Because she made a lot of Korean friends in Uzbekistan and went to Korea one summer, she wants to learn Korean.
Marula씨는 똑똑한 사람이라서, 독어하고 영어하고 러시아어하고 또 지금 한국어로 대화하고 있어요. 와 …언어가 정말 많아요! 언어 많이 또 배우고 싶어 해요.
Marula is a smart person, because she can speak German, English, Russian, and now Korean too. Wow ... so many languages! She wants to learn even more.
소아스를 졸업해 후에 아마 Berlin에 돌아갈 거에요. 그리고 행복하고 건강하는 생에 사랑하고 친구를 채우고 싶어 해요. 좋은 생각 이네요.
After she graduates from SOAS, she might go back to Berlin. And she wants to have a happy, healthy life filled with love and friends. I think that's good.
Marula씨는 세 소원이 있으면, 사람이 다른 사람에게 더 친절하고 이해심을 하게 원해요. 그리고, 텔레포터가 하고 새 진바지 한 벌 있고 싶어 해요. 저도 텔레포터를 원해요. 만약 Marula씨는 텔레포터가 있으면 어디에 갈까요? 오느 나라에 가고 뭐를 할까요?
If Marula had 3 wishes, she would wish that people could be more kind and understanding to other people. And she wants to have a teleporter and a new pair of jeans. I want a teleporter too! If Marula had a teleporter, where would she go? What countries would she go to and what would she do?
할머니에 저에게 대해서도 말했어요. 할머니를 정말 존경해요. 할머니께서는 배려하고 다정한 사람이세요. 자주 자원 봉사일하고 사과나무 많이 재배하세요. 그리고 놀라운 딱총나무 꽃 주스를 만드세요. 정말 맛있을 것 같지요? 저도 마시고 싶어요!
She told me about her grandmother too. She really admires her grandmother. Her grandmother is a very caring and kind person. She often does volunteer work, and grows apple trees. And she makes amazing elderflower juice. It sounds delicious, right? I want to drink it!
Marula씨는 할머니가 되면, 무슨 맛있는 것을 만들까요? 아직도 행복하고 예쁜 사람일 거에요? Berlin에서 살까요? 여러분 기다려 봐요!
When Marula is a grandmother, what tasty things will she make? Will she still be a happy, pretty person? Will she live in Berlin? Everybody, wait and see!
