Originating from eastern Inner Mongolia, this Mongolian folk song, characterized by its gentle, drawn-out melody, which (often) arouses in its listeners the feeling of boundlessness associated with the Mongolian grassland, is not only popular in Inner Mongolia but all over China.
But actually this song was/is adapted from another folk song,《乌赫尔图·灰腾》, which tells the sad story/describes the grief/ of a young man who lost his lover in a prairie fire.

I'm also in the process of translating a Chinese poem for an upcoming entry. ^^

Unfortunately, I could not understand the last line very well. What is "多么" and "爱煞人" ?

Thank you very much for the corrections, the last sentence "多么爱煞人" means "made people extremely loved" "多么" is an often-used interjection express the meaning "how..." or "what a ...", for example "多么迷人(how fascinating it is)" “多么漂亮的女孩" "what a beautiful girl". “煞”means ”very,extremely“, 爱煞人means "extremely love it"
