Nicósia a capital do Chipre

Hoje eu viajei a Nicósia, capital do Chipre. Nicósia tem mais de 230 mil habitantes. Fui lá para algum trabalho. Cada vez que vou a esta cidade eu sinto o mesmo: muitas pessoas, muito tráfego, muito barulho, e muito tempo para fazer o seu trabalho.
Graças a Deus, eu moro em uma cidade pequena e eu gosto disso. Imagino que viver em cidades que têm milhões de habitantes, deve ser difícil e cansativo.

Hoje eu viajei À Nicósia, (A) capital do Chipre. The verb "VIAJAR" is a verb that requires a preposition. In this case it requires the preposition "A", following the example: "Eu viajo a...", if the next word is a feminine word as "NICÓSIA", we have: "Eu viajo A A Nicósia". The first A is the PREPOSITION of the verb "VIAJAR" and the second is the FEMININE ARTICLE of the word "NICÓSIA". When you have "A+A", it becomes "À" and is pronounced as "A", no difference.
Fui lá para PROCURAR OR ENCONTRAR algum trabalho. If you mean: "I went there to SEARCH/FIND a job".
VOCÊ VIVE em uma cidade grande? In Portugal it would be right, but in Brazil we use to say VOCÊ and then we conjugate the verb not in the second person singular, but in the THIRD PERSON SINGULAR. Of course there are some regions in Brazil where "TU" is used, but the most popular form is "VOCÊ", so follow the advice of a native :P
Como ELA é na verdade? You were talking about the city, it's a feminine word... so that's why you should had said ELA here :)
