Can you please help me with the following text? Does the text in Icelandic says the same as the english text? Is this correct Icelandic?
Kypur er sjálfstætt ríki og fulltrúi Evrópusambandsins. 37% af yfirráðasvæði þess sé upptekinn af Tyrkland eftir innrás 1974.
Cyprus is a sovereign country and member of the European Union. 37% of its territory is occupied by Turkey after the 1974 invasion.
