Skiing close to Fuji-san (Mt. Fuji)

Yesterday our family went to skiing with other two families. The group consisted of 13 or 14 members.

All of those families have young kinds, from baby to 5 years old boy, and actually many of us didn't ski. We went to a corner for kids, where adults are not permitted to ski and kids can play safely. And we helped our kids play to sled.

There was no traffic jam and it took just two and half hour respectively. In addition to that, the sky was so clean that we can see Mt. Fuji very well. An attached is a picture of Mt. Fuji.

To be honest, I was a bit tired, but it was good going there.

i agree with you,hang out with family and friends is wonderful time. i think you really enjoy your time with your fam.

i think "going" is continous tense.and it means something that you still doing untill now. but since you said yesterday it means you didn't do it again.thats why i use to go there
but there is structure named gerund which verb+ing means noun, just like skiing is my hobby, smoking is not good, dancing is good activities, etc.
"it was good going there" do want to use continous tense or gerund, which one you'd like to use?
ahh, i'm sorry for bad explanation,i wish i can explain it clearer. ^____^;;

Partially understood. Uh, I know `ing' means basically continuous status but it doesn't necessarily explain `it's nice talking to you'. Really this kind of thing is confusing us.

haha, not really. i learning english so its a chance to me to practice english more like explain something in english.
maybe its better if you say i'm tired but it was good to be there or just like i said before.
