A Problem

The summer has already come in Japan and the temperature has been over 30 degrees for weeks. Most of the Japanese including my wife has been affected by the hot weather and it is a little difficult for them to use air conditioners appropriately in the shortage of electricity.

However, I have been having another problem. I am good at coping with hot weather but it is a little difficult for me to adjust myself to the difference between the temperature outside and inside.

For example, every morning I walk to the nearest station to commute. 15 minutes’ walk to the station in the hot temperature is rather comfortable for me. However, it is much cooler in the train and I am afraid the difference may affect me.

In my office, the air conditioner is set at 28 degrees as a company rule. In terms of saving electricity, 28 degrees is permissible and most of my colleagues do not seem to be uncomfortable about it. However, it is a too cool for me.

It may be an elementary but I think bringing one more outerwear is the best preventative measure for me. Anyway, it is a very difficult problem that feeling hot or cool depends on how each person actually feels.
