first class?

I took first class at university today.
But we first grade students haven't gotten any textbook and haven't decide any curriculum yet.
So I took class or perhaps I should say I listened to explanation.
今日大学で初めての授業がありました。
でも私たち一回生はまだ教科書も買ってないし、カリキュラムも決めてません。
だから授業を受けたというより説明をきいたという感じでした。
On Friday, there is only one class which I am interested in.
It is International Relations.
I hope the teacher explain about UN very much.
金曜日には興味のある授業が一つしかありません。
それは国際関係論なんですが
先生が国連についてたくさん説明してくれるのを期待しています。
I haven't adapted myself surrounding students...
So I took today's class alone.
I exchanged my mail address with some students.
But I haven't been able to gotten along well with them.
When seminar with small number of people start, I want to be able to get along well with them..!
まだ周りの生徒たちになじめていません・・
だから今日の授業も一人でうけました。
何人かの生徒とアドレス交換をしたんですが
まだ仲良くなれてません。
少人数のゼミが始まったら、その人たちと仲良くなりたいです・・！

But I haven't been able to gotten get along well with them.

There are a lot of small mistakes...:(

I could get nice idea.
I attended my first class at university today.
We first year students haven't yet purchased our textbooks or decided on our curricula.
So rather than class, perhaps I should say that I attended orientation. (Man, I hated orientation when I first got into university. So boring...)
I hope the teacher speaks in depth about the UN.
I haven't yet adapted myself to the student body...
So I went to class alone today.
I exchanged my mail address with several other students.
But I can't call them friends just yet. (Sounds more natural, I think.)
I want to get to know them once small group seminars begin. (I honestly didn't know how to cleanly rewrite "seminar with small number of people", but I gave it my best.)
Just beware of the "Freshman 15".
I'm still trying to lose mine. =/
It means getting one's weight, right?
I also want to lose mine..
But it takes 30 minutes to go to my college by foot so I hope my weight will lose..
