Friday, July 13, 2012. It's half-past twelve (12:30)
I'm back after two months of not writing anything on Lang-8. Not because I wouldn't have wanted to, nor because I didn't have time -something that I have more than enough of. It's because I didn't know what to speak of. Every time it's more and more dificult to find a relevant topic. So, I haven't been as active as I was before, writing, correcting or commenting. Off and on I've entered to correct people's journals and to entertain myself by reading my friends' entries.
I'd already written an entry about my resolution to write more often and commented about the habit of some Mexicans of not writing. But, I'm writing about this topic again because I'm interested in it a lot. In fact, I'm obsessed with writing because I want to become an active writer. Why? You may ask. Actually for many reasons. One of the main reasons is because my friend once told me that if you can't write you don't think, and I think it's true because it's a reflection of clear ideas inside your mind.
Once I heard that writing takes time. You don't become a writer from one day to another. It's a skill that becomes part of you by writing every day and by making a lot of mistakes. Besides, It's something that you learn in gerund, I mean, writing. However, it's a good idea for someone to read your text, in that way you can get feedback. They can tell you if there is something you missed. Many writers thrive in a community in which they can exchange tips and tricks with each other. This can foster a creative synergy

Entonces, no he estado tan activo como antes, escribiendo, corrigiendo o comentando.

I'd already written an entry about my resolution to write more often and commented about Mexicans habits of not to write.
Necesitas conjugarlo. It should be "of not writing"
As Oscar Wild said, for express every thought -or something alongg those lines.
It's also important that you enjoy a writers' community in such a way they can give you tips and tricks.
about Mexicans habits of --> could be expressed as "about the Mexican habit
of . . . " but this stereotypes people too much. I prefer: "about the habit of some Mexicans of not writing."
. . . I believe that if one man were to live out his life fully and completely, were to give form to every feeling, expression to every thought, reality to every dream - I believe that the world would gain such a fresh impulse of joy that we would forget all the maladies of medievalism, and return to the Hellenic ideal - to something finer, richer, than the Hellenic ideal, it may be.
writers, so would express the idea this way -
Many writers thrive in a community in which they exchange tips and
tricks with each other. This can foster a creative synergy.
After two months thatwhen I don't didn't write anything at all here on Lang-8.
Not because I wouldn't have wanted want to, nor because I don't didn't have time -something that I have more than enough of.
I made all the tenses consistently past tense.
It's because I don't didn't know what to speak of.
Every time it's more and more dififcult to find out a relevant topic.

I find I censor certain topics because they seem too personal or too political for the Lang 8 audience. However, since I am resolved to write at least once a week, I am always alert to a possible topic and usually can find at least one. I hope this will continue to be so for me and for you. Jaycee

Often they can help you seen things you missed.
Thanks for reading!
Although "¡Gracias por leer!" could be expressed as "Thanks for reading!" there is a cultural difference. "Thank you" rituals vary from culture to culture. Japanese and Spanish readers would
probably consider it polite to thank readers. However, in North American culture if you really write
well, then there should be no need to thank people for reading. This is a good example of how
a direct translation can differ from a culturally appropriate translation.
