彼女はアメリカ人のジャズボーカリストでした。
１９３３年にノース・カロライナ州で彼女は生まれました。
彼女の夢はコンサートピアニストになりでした。

高校あとに小さなクラブで歌うやピアノを演奏するはじめました。
１９５８年に彼女のバージョンの"I Loves You Porgy"を記録しました。
"I Loves You Porgy"はとても古い歌です。
ビリーホリデイも"I Loves You Porgy"人気バージョンがいました。
しかし、僕はニーナ・シモンのバージョンが一番がすきです。
１９６０年次代にニーナ・シモンは黒人ため平等について歌うはじめました。
彼女が市民権運動をたくさん手伝いました。
１９７０年にカリブ海でバルバドスに移動しました。
しかし、彼女の夫が彼女のマネージャーでした。
彼は彼女がバルバドスに移動してので離婚したいとおもいました。
彼がマネージャーいてので彼がニーナ・シモンのお金を制御しました。
彼女がアメリカに帰るの時、所得税からをたくさんお金を借りていました。
そして、バルバドスに帰る決定すて、アメリカでは検察側を避けるためでした。

お金に関しては「制御」を使う事はまずないと思います。
※きっと civil rights movement のことですよね。「公民権運動」と呼びます。
しかし、（このとき）彼女の夫が彼女のマネージャーでした。※前の文と「しかし」でつなぐ必要はなさそうですが。。。「しかし、彼女のマネージャーだった夫は移住に反対でした」という意味でしょうか。
