I would ài (love) to start using (simplified) Chinese characters, but I seem to be having trouble downloading the Chinese text. Can someone reccomend a good website?

i use NJStar Communicator to input Chinese..

You can also just use the windows input version. I think it's standard on every computer (it was on mine so :p.), but otherwise NJ star might be a good option though it'snot as convenient I think.
I used to use NJ star but then somebody told me about the input version of windows, it's much easier because now I have troubles typing in NJ star because it's so slow to type. But that's just my personal opinion ^^

maybe you can try "www.baidu.com".a search engine just like google,what important is that it's a Chinese search engine.search on it,there is Chinese text so much.

Hi Xiao Hua, you don't have to download it if you are using Window XP.

Go to Start and look for the Control panel, then click Regional and language options, after that look for Languages, then click Details. Here you'll see many other languages such as Chinese, Korean, Greek and of course Japanese. Lastly, add the IME Chinese.

Start > Control panel > Regional & language options > Languages > Details > (then click Add)

I hope you get what I mean.
