I got a job in Singapore and moved to Singapore 3weeks ago. I have been staying at HDB where is in Holland Village. However I could stay here only for 3 weeks, because The owner has three kids and they moved to this room to avoid the aftershocks in Japan. That's why my contract is only 3 weeks.
I was looking for a room very hard. Also I went some inspections but I hadn't decided yet. I was at a loss. I had no idea what can I find a room. Then I asked my manager if she know any recommendation. She is always nice and kind. She called our finder whether it is available to me to rent a room in his house. Fortunately, the room is empty and I could rent the room until I find nice room!!! The founder told me "You don't need to find a room in harry, otherwise possibly you will find strange house or room. Take your time to find a room." He has a largehearted.. It made me cry.
So I am moving to his family's house today. I hope it goes well!

I have been staying at in a HDB where is in Holland Village. (You need to explain what HDB means because the only people who know it are probably Singaporeans. You could substitute it for 'public housing' or 'low-cost apartment')
That's why my contract is only for 3 weeks.
