I talked with an Argentina woman through skype. She was almost good in health but had a lot of work to do. I felt sorry to know that. I wish she can enjoy her journey in Japan.

  • I wish she can enjoy her journey in Japan.
  • I hope she can enjoy her journey in Japan. Hope is more natural. Wish is for more impossible things. We often use "wish" with "would" . e.g. "I wish she would enjoy her journey in Japan". Meaning, you think she cannot, but you really hope she can.

Thank you for your corrections and comments. Your explanations are easy to understand. I'll be more careful of the usage of the words "wish" and "hope".
I should have used "hope" in this diary.
