ひやけ
昨日とおとといよく外にいました。
Yesterday and the day before, I spent a lot of time outside.
とてもいい天気だったから。
Because the weather was really nice.
でも、今ひやけです。
But, now I'm sunburned.
赤くになりました。
I've turned red.
ライフガードだからいつも外にいます。
Because I'm a lifeguard I'm always outside.
ひやけとめざいをしますがひやけです。。。
I wear sunscreen, but I'm still sunburned...
いたいです。
It hurts.
みんなさん、今なつにひやけをしないで気をつけてください！
Everyone, Please be careful to not get sunburned this summer!

昨日とおととい、長い間外にいました。
でも、今ひやけしました。（でも、今は日焼けになってしまいました。）
赤くになりました。
日焼け止め（日焼け止めクリーム／日焼け止めローション）を塗っていましたが、ひやけしています。。。
みんなさん、今年の夏にひやけをしないように気をつけてください！
早く治りますように・・・
ライフガードは人の命を守るための大切なお仕事ですね。がんばってください！

高校で免許のしけんをとりました。
ライフガードクラスでその仕事を勉強したからあまりむずかしくなかったです。
お仕事が終わったらパックなどで冷やしてみてくださいね。
でも、プールのライフガード（日本語では監視員と言うかもしれません）はやりがいのあるお仕事ですね。がんばってください！

私の仕事は、ライフガード（救助員）だからいつも外にいます。
いたいです。（痛いです）
I think lifeguard is a wonderful job.
I've heard that to qualify to become a lifeguard is a tough thing to do.
Is it any tougher for a woman to become a lifeguard than it is for a man?
And helping to cut down on the number of fatalities in accidents is the job of the lifeguard.
I have respect for you.

In my high school we had a semester long class for lifeguard training and to pass the class you needed to pass the certification test. Since we had a whole semester spent training for it, I don't think it was very hard...
I can't say if it's any easier for men than it is for women, but there were 2 girls and 1 guy that didn't pass in my class.
