Growing vegetables is fun! and saves you money!
Recently I began growing vegetables in my garden. At first I never imagined that I could do such a painful thing by myself. But when they grew up and I picked them up for cook, I really thanked them to the blessing of nature.
My father urged me to make the space for vegetable at the corner in my garden. He had felt that my purchasing vegetables is much waste of money. He said that vegetables that can be grown easily at home even if I have a brown thumb save our money. He knows how to grow them thoroughly because he has been taking care of his small farm and growing several kinds of vegetables like spinach, potato, tomato, eggplant, cucumber and etc. for years.
My father and I went shopping for some bricks to block the vegetable planting space though I remained reluctant to grow them. I followed his seeding instruction, yet I didn’t want to do that. But when the first sprouts appeared after watering several days, I was filled with delight.
Yesterday I gathered first spinaches and ate them. Those are comparatively small, but I felt that those are much tastier than those sold in supermarkets. I thanked the power of nature and my father.
Growing vegetables are not so bothering if those are needed only watering and fertilizing sometimes. It saves you little money.

Growing vegetables is fun and saves you money!
But when I harvested them for cooking, I was really thankful for such a blessing from nature. (先の文はちゃんと理解できますが、言い回しが不自然)
My father urged me to make the space for the vegetables in the corner in my garden.
He had felt that my purchasing vegetables was a waste of money.
He said that growing vegetables that can be grown easily at home, even if I have a brown thumb, will (would/could) save us money.
He knows how to grow them thoroughly because he has been taking care of his small farm and growing several kinds of vegetables like spinach, potatoes, tomatoes, eggplants, cucumbers, and etc.
My father and I went shopping for some bricks to block off (surround) the vegetable planting space though I remained reluctant to grow them.
Even so, I followed his seeding instruction.
But when the first sprouts appeared after watering for several days, I was filled with delight.
Yesterday I ate my first homegrown spinach harvest. (spinachの複数形は単数形と同じなので、書き直さないといけないんです)
The leaves were comparatively small, but I felt that they were much tastier than those sold in supermarkets.
Growing vegetables isn't that difficult if all they require is an occasional watering and fertilization.
It'll save you a little bit of money.
And sunflowers.
Really, really big sunflowers.
Like, really, really big ones that reach up to my bedroom window on the second floor.
They're insane.
This post is the first one for about 3 and a half months.
My English ability is getting worse...XD
I want to see your sunflowers!
