このサイトにはかなり前に登録したんだけど、ずっと使ってませんでした。
なぜなら、転職して、その仕事が超ハードで、余裕がないからです。
だから、Lang-8のこともほぼ忘れてしまっていました。
でも、他の方法で英語の勉強は続けています。
そのうちの一つは本ですが、その本の中で、このサイトのことが書いてありました。
それにちょうど１，２週間ほど時間に余裕があるので、毎日何かしら日記を書こうと思います。

英語の文章を先に書いて、後から日本語を書いてみると、支離滅裂なことが多いです……
むむむ・・・

First, I couldn't say that Shooting day is one of these days from Jan 27th to Jan 30th. (I said "Shooting day is one day shooting during Jan 27th to 30th./Shooting day is one day shooting from Jan 27th to 30th)
Next, I said "Please scratch off you schedule tomorrow."

Do they make sense?
If it doesn't, could you give me correct sentences?


今日の失敗
今日は仕事で、たくさんの人に電話をかけました。
そして、いくつかミスをしました。
まず、「撮影日は1月27日から30日のうち、どれか１日です」と言えませんでした。
次に、「明日のスケジュールははずしておいてください」というのもちゃんと言えなかった気がします。

私が言った文で意味は通じますか？
もし意味をなさないなら、なんと言えばよかったですか？

But I've almost forgotten as I get older. Oops!
& It's difficult to find and write in Chinese Chinese Character :P
Because there really is difference between Japanese one and Chinese one. Japanese kanji is more simply than Chinese kanji.
That's why I tried to write Chinese diary tonight.(but I gave it up.)

I also studied Italian,French, Russian and Spanish...
But I couldn't read their diary in any degree.
Because I just remember greetings!

大学生の頃、私は中国語を勉強しました。
でも、今となっては、ほとんど忘れてしまっています。あ～あ。
それに、中国語の繁体字を見つけたり、書いたりするのは面倒なんです。
日本語も漢字を使うけれど、中国の漢字と日本の漢字には、かなり違いがあるからです。日本の漢字のほうが、シンプルです。
そういうわけで、今日は（今夜は）中国語で日記を書いてみようかな、と思ったけれど、挫折しました。：Ｐ

他には、イタリア語、フランス語、ロシア語、スペイン語もちょっと勉強しました。でも、スペイン語で書かれた日記を読んでみたら、全くわかりませんでした…。
だって、挨拶くらいしか覚えてないんだも～ん！

That is "foreigner"!
Recently I used "alien" for foreign people because my dictionary says "you should not use the word foreigner for foreiners.".
But one of my friends told that I should use foreigner.
And another one said I should use foreign people.
Which is best? Or is there a more proper word?
I've got confused...

今、一つの言葉について、アドバイスをもらったところです。
それは、foreignerという言葉について。
最近、私はforeignerという言葉の代わりに、alienを使っていました。私の使っている辞書に、外国人に対して、foreignerという言葉を使うのはよくない、と書かれていたからです。（疎外感を与える、といった理由で。）
でも、私の友人は、foreignerを使ったほうがいいよ、と。（alienじゃ、まんまエイリアンかと混乱しちゃう、と。）
また、別の友人は、foreigne peopleを使ったほうがいいよ、と。
一体、どれが一番いい表現なんですかね？？
ネイティブの人がforeignerでいいって言うんだから、いいんだろうとは思うのですが……。

あと、もう一つ。
～すべきでない、ってI should not　でいいんですか？
今のところそう言ってるけど、自信ないです…。

Not only Japanese, but also another any language have many means if it's only one sentence and soemtimes it will be different depending on situation and so on.
So I'm going to write it in English and Japanese. And it will be "To kill two birds with one stone." maybe.

いくつか他の人の日記を読ませてもらって、
日記を書くときは英語と日本語の両方を書いたほうがいいな、と確信しました。　（なぜなら、）日本語だけで書かれていた場合、きちんと意味を把握できないことがあるからです。
日本語だけでなく、すべての言語において、一つの文や言葉が色んな意味に成り得ます。
なので、英語と日本語の両方で書くべきだ、と。
だし、それは「一石二鳥」でもあるなぁ、と。
（もし、添削してくれる人が日本語を学んでいるなら、日本語の勉強になりますしね。私も英語での記述を諦めた部分を、こうして補足できるし：）　）
