I have started using "cauchsurfing" from October.
You can find places to stay for free all over the world or can host travelers from many countries.
I haven't traveled yet but I hosted 3 people. One is from California and the others from Denmark. The guy from California is traveling Japan by hitchhiking. It was very surprising to me and I was inspired. I guess I am going to travel to the us this summer :))

It is a very nice thing to do, to host travellers from other countries.
