あたらしい　ところ　が　すき

いま、　BALTIMORE　で　うつくしい　あぱあと　に　いきっています。　わたし　が　いきる　まち　は　そずか　ところ　です。　ちいさく　でも　きれい　えん　（苑）　が　あぱあと　の　まえ　に　あります。　びじゅつ　の　だいがく　が　ここ　ちかく　に　あります。　だから　ここ　に　いきる　の　で、　わたし　は、　かなり　うれしい　かな。 このあいだ、　わたし　の　とおくない　ともだち　が　「いい　この　まち　な。　わたし　と　つま　は　ここ　に　いきる　こと　かんがえた。」　と　いいました。　でも、　ない　こと　を　きめました。　ここ　から　きた　か　にし　6 BLOCKS　え　あるけば　まち　が　まらい　よくない　だ　の　よし　かな。 それから、　ともだち　が　もっと　いい　ところ　に　いきっています。　じゃあ、　かね　の　かず　は　わたし　と　もっと　もっています。　そして　しぞく　が　あります。　しぞく　が　ほし　です　が、　いま　ひとれ　で　いきる　の　が　すき　かな。　

Now I'm living in a beautiful apartment in Baltimore. The neighborhood that I live in is a peaceful place. There's a small but nice park in front of my apartment. An art school is nearby. So as for me, I think I'm fairly happy living here. The other day, a friend of mine who lives not far from here said, "This is a nice area. My wife and I considered living here." But, he had decided against it. I think that the reason is, if you walk about 6 blocks north or west from here, the neighborhood is not so good.

Though it is still just as pretty, the people who live there are poor and many are drug addicts. There is a big separation between skin color for some reason. Practically everyone outside of my area to the west and north is black.

So my friend is living in a nicer area. Well, he has more money than me.And he has a family to support. I want a family but, right now I think I like living alone.
