Japanese Christmas
Merry Christmas and happy new year. How was your Christmas?
It is common to celebrate Christmas Eve with sweetheart at a fancy place in Japan. Eve is more important for most of Japanese couples, but I don`t know why.
However, I tried to do in the Eurorean style this year.
I kept staying home with my family, have a nice Christmas dinner, and enjoyed a conversation with a glass of wine.
I had such a nice Christmas, but people maight say that it was a kind of lonley.
I didn`t desire a girl friend at all,Santa Claus. I had a cute puppy!
I opened my big mouth...but if I got roped ,I would make a reservation for a luxury hotel room and have dinnder with her at a French diner.
It is comfortable to keep our majority status.
I visited a Christmas market on the Christmas morning.
It have been popular among Tokyo people to go and see the European style Christmas market since last year.
Strasbourg tourist agency backed up the chrismas market this year.
That`s why all of the store staffs, goods, and menu were French.
I bought a piece of quiche and a glass of hot wine. I liked it, but I thought it was not meet the tastes of Japanese. One guy said "I like KFC pie better than quiche." But,they didn`t care about it, because the Christmas market was popular and cool.
They imported Christmas as the holiday for couples like Valentine for a long time ago.
Now they are trying to familiarize Christmas market as a cool market.
Halloween as a kind of cosplay party became common among the family who has a little child thesedays.
I guess we Japanese would make an occasion of Thanksgiving and Independence Day of USA someday.
Ha...I act like a bear today. I`m working at a hotel where the busiest place during the Christmas season. And I handled for more than 220 couple`s check out this afternoon.
