I'll go to see "Friday the 13th", the latest one with my friend tomorrow.
It's been a long time since I saw a horror movie in the theater.
When I saw "Friday the 13th", the first one at the theater, I was so surprised and jumped out from my seat at the last scene.

I expect more excited and scarely scenes this time.

This is also the movie I want to see.

Thank you for correction and comment. ^_^ / ''

The movie was pretty good! I enjoyed it.
You don't like horror movies don't you?
I love movies and spend my free time watching them.
Especially Tim Burton's films are excellent!

Haha, no I don't like them...
I find them to be somewhat boring ^^;;; haha(hard to believe right???)
I'd rather watch a romantic comeday or err a goof fantasy/action movie ^___^

  • I'll go to see "Friday the 13th", the latest one with my friend tomorrow.
  • I'll go to see the new "Friday the 13th" with my friend tomorrow. (while not incorrect, most people use the pair "the new" and "the original")

  • It's been a long time since I saw a horror movie in the theater.
  • It's been a long time since I've seen a horror movie in the theater.

  • When I saw "Friday the 13th", the first one at the theater, I was so surprised and jumped out from my seat at the last scene.
  • When I saw the original "Friday the 13th" at the theater, I was so surprised that I jumped out of my seat during the last scene. (See my explanation below)

  • I expect more excited and scarely scenes this time.
  • I expect more exciting and scarey scenes this time. (since "scenes" is the noun being modified, anything that is modifying "scenes" needs to be an adjective. Thus, "exciting" is appropriate in this case.)

One tidbit: using "so"

"So" is part of the grammar structure "so......that". It has the nuance of ほど in Japanese.
Ex:
I was so hungry that I ate a foot long sandwich.
I was so tired that I slept all day.
He is so fast that no one could catch him.

When you use "so" as a modifier alone, there is still an implied "that".
I was soooo tired! (implied: that....something)
I was soooo hungry! (implied: that....something)
He is soooo fast! (implied: that....something).

In your sentence, you said, "I was so surprised and jumped out of my seat".
However, you have not just implied what happened because you were so surprised, you stated it, so you need to add "that":

I was so surprised that I jumped right out of my seat during the last scene!

I hope that helps!
