"Field Trip" / Educational　Tour

Yesterday I took my son to the Apple store in Shinsaibashi to attend a special event named "Field Trip".
The purpose of this event is to teach about "ipad" to children.
My son is a member of an English club and this was the one of their club activities.
So the facilitator of this event taught them how to make own music with ipad using English words.
I think it was funny sight that some Japanese children were taking lesson in English in the middle of the shop.
I was afraid that my son couldn't understand what the facilitator said , but there was no need to worry about it .
As soon as the children got the seat in front of the each ipad , they immediately opened the ipad and touched it even before the lesson would start .
They all went through the course and are given the documents.
My son was intense in playing the ipad , so he didn't want to go home even after the lesson.
He insisted on having a ipad, but of course I can't afford to buy it as a kid's birthday present!

昨日、私と息子は心斎橋アップルストアの【フィールドトリップ】というイベントに参加してきました。
これは、子どもたちにipadの事を知ってもらおうというイベントです。
息子は英語クラブのメンバーで、コレはそのクラブの活動の一つなので、
講師は ipad を使ってどうやって音楽をつくるか　と言う事を、英語で教えてくれます。
日本の子どもたちが、アップルストアのまん真ん中で、しかも英語で話をきいてる光景はさぞかし滑稽だったろうと思います。
息子が話を理解できるかどうか不安でしたが、そんな心配は無用でした。
子どもたちは席に着くやいなや、まだ授業も始まっていないのにipad を開けてタッチしていました。
彼らはみんなコースを終了して、修了証書をもらいました。
息子は授業が終わってもipad に熱中して、帰ろうとしませんでした。
ipad が欲しいと主張しましたが、子どもの誕生日プレゼントにipadを買うほどの余裕はウチにはありません！
