Do you know why Gokuu shouts Hawaiian king's name?

Nowadays, Japanese animation programs are getting popular and are broadcasted all over the world .
Comparing with Japanese comic hero and other countries' comic hero, I noticed　that there are some
characteristic differences between them.
Each Japanese heroes normally have some tricky aggressive techniques and when they fight with these techniques , they shout their techniques' name loudly.
"Dragon Ball" is one of the famous anime and the hero of this story is called Gokuu.
When Gokuu explodes his special ability, he shouts ”Kamehameha~~~~" with his angry voice.
I don't understand why he shouts Hawaiian king's name but he is not only one hero who shout something when they attack villains.

When I took my sons to watch the movie "Dragon Ball " , I found a lot of children shouted "kamehameha~" at the same time with Gokuu putting themselves in Gokuu's shoes.
It was very funny!

日本のアニメは今や世界中で人気となり、いろんな国で放送されています。
日本のコミックヒーローと他の国のコミックヒーローを比べると、いくつか特徴の違いが見受けられます。
日本のヒーローは、どれも巧妙な攻撃の技を持っていて、戦っている時にその技の名前を大声で叫びます。
ドラゴンボールはもっとも有名なアニメの一つで、主人公は『悟空』といいますが、
悟空がその特殊な技を繰り出す時には、『カメハメハ～～～～』と大声で叫びます。
なぜハワイの王様の名前を叫ぶのかよく分かりませんが、彼だけじゃなく他のヒーローも敵と戦うときには何か叫んでます。

私が息子たちを『ドラゴンボール』を見に連れて行ったとき、そこにいた大勢の子どもたちが、悟空に成り代わって、同じタイミングで『カメハメハー！！！』と叫んでました。
すごく面白かったです！
