I have had a spech disorder since when I was 3-years-old.
That is a stuttering.

It is kind of hard for me to write or talk about it, but I came up with putting it down on this journal. A writing it down is lighter than talking about it.

Until a couple of years ago, I couldn't even talk about my stuttering in front of others. It brought me tears sometimes.

If I were not a stutter, My life would be different than I am.

But I know that it's not good to look a bad side of me.
I am always trying to look at a good side of me.

My job is to sell our products. I am a saleman in spite of having a speak problem.

I would not blame you if you laughed at me because of my stuttering.
If I were not a stutter, I would laught at it.

I didn't even think that I would become a saleman.

I have met several overcomers of stutering.
They said that being old, experience counts so I belive that I can get over it.


I enjoy my job now. Of course, life is full of ups and downs.

Me too! When I was little, I stuttered a lot. But, when I was 18 years old, I became a musician and it "cured" my stuttering. Now, I almost never stutter but I still remember what it felt like.

I have a friend who stutters and I don't even notice it anymore. If you want, you can train to get over it but if you are a good person people will like you no matter how you speak.

A well-known preacher in our area used to be a stutterer. He didn't think he could preach in front of so many people, but somehow he overcame it. He is a wonderful speaker now. Once in a while he stumbles, but most of the time you would never know that he had a speech problem.
