Birthday

I have four children: two sons and two daughters. Today is my first
son’s birthday. He is 6 years old now. January 18th is my second
daughter’s birthday. She will be 8 years old. So we are in the
middle of birthday-week of my family.
A few years ago, we spent a whole day shopping the presents
for them. But this year, we ordered them from Amazon. com
through the Internet and we had them delivered yesterday.
Furthermore, we ordered the birthday cakes at a convenience
store in the neighborhood. It is very convenient.
Both of them wanted the software of video games. I gave them
what they wanted. They were pleased with the presents very much
and played them until eleven o’clock last night. As a parent,
however, I am worried a little. Will they spend too much time
playing games? Aren’t the video games bad for their eyes? I
hope they will want something else next year, such as a bat and
a glove for baseball or heart-warming books.
