Recently, I am interested in science fiction.

I read two novels written by Project Itoh.

One of his works is described by new style called ETML

It means Emotion-in-text Markup Language.

If you know about HTML, you can understand easily. But it is not so hard to get meaning of ETML's style for beginners.

For example,

<surprise> Wow!</surprise>

The character,"< >" indicate start point and "</ >" is end point.

If I interpret to plain sentences, it means

"He was surprised and said Wow!"

We can use these tag by nested.

For example,

<silence><surprise>I cannot do that. I thought ...</surprise></silence>

I don't know these style are author's unique style or not.

But these style can make various expression by text.

"<movie>...</movie>" is indicate that this part is movie which is played in story.

There are many styles like that, and we can make own tag easily.

I think these style is very nice to explain some complex things, but maybe it is trouble some to write tags.

In near future, you may see these style at someone's SNS or BBS.
