Eric Alexander - Live at COTTON CLUB Tokyo

I just came back from the live show of Eric Alexander, a Saxphone player, at COTTON CLUB Tokyo.
He is one of my favorite Jazz players. I had an impression as very urban sound from his CD. However I impressed as he is old-fashioned style from his live play today. The quartet played some Jazz standard numbers with hard-bop improvisation and Eric played solo very long time.
It's very cold oday in Tokyo, but the music makes us hot.
