My short trip to SENDAI

Last Saturday, my friend and I went to Sendai which is the area TUNAMI and earthquake hit.
先週の土曜に、友達と一緒に仙台に行ってきた。仙台は地震と津波に襲われた地域である。

I wanted to cheer up people there and buy many things to recover economy.

私は現地の人を元気づけたかったし、いろいろ買って経済を回したかった。

First, we went to Matushima which is one of the three most famous views in Japan.
日本三景の一つである松島に行った。

It is the view from a pleasure boat.
遊覧船からの景色です。

The bay is dotted with islets.
湾内に小島が点在しています。

Second, we drove around Matusima.
次に松島のあたりをドライブしました。

We saw the shocking scene.
衝撃的な光景を目の当たりにしました。

The ship was on GRASS!!
船が草むらに乗り上げていたのです！！

I understood how severe the earthquake was.
私は地震がどれほどのものだったのか思い知りました。

Pray for JAPAN.
日本のために祈ってください。

That night we ate Sushi.(look at my second photo.)
It was soooo delicious.

When the earthquake occurred, I was not in Japan.
I was in Hongkong at that time, so I dont really feel yet that the earthquake hit Japan.

遊覧船。。。 scenic tour boat, cruise boat, etc.
遊覧は船、車とも cruising とかが良く使われる。でも、松島のあれは(scenic) boat tour ってのがいいかも。
仙台周辺出身だから、松島は結構行ったよ。復興 (disaster recovery/relief) が速くすすむ事を願ってます。仙台周辺の出身?
