Wow complicated!! I will break it down in order to translate effectively into English^^ (진짜 고급스러운 문장이군요!)

Humans, as members of society
Cultural elements(문화란)
knowledge, religion, art, ethics, law and customs
such as (etc.) (등)
As a whole are acquired skills or practices

"Cultural elements such as knowledge, religion, art, ethics, law and customs, as a whole are skills or practices acquired by humans as members of society."

Culture is the sum of knowledge, religion, art, morals, rules and customs which are obtained as a member of society through acquired skills or habit.

*I am not sure if this is correct translation, but I feel that your translation is missing the most important part, and the subject of the sentence, which is culture. I am not sure if I have this correctly, but 이란 from my understanding is used when you want to define a word.
