Who are Rajputs? Does anyone know here? I can guess, "No one"!
Rajputs are worries who belong to central parts(North) in India. Literally means, Son Of King. Mostly Rajputs live in Rajasthan. This word(Rajput) first time emerged in 7th century. Rajputs were known for their loyalty and trustworthy. Before 7th century they had been called 'Rajputra". It also known as Kshatriyas(क्षत्रिय). Rajputs ancestry can be divided into two parts: the "solar" or suryavanshi- those who belong to Shri Rama, the hero of the epic Ramayana, and the "lunar" or chandravanshi, who claimed descent from Krishna, the hero of the epic Mahabharata. Rajputs Used to have their kingdoms. They used to fight for. In present time, They live like ordinary person, but some of them still live in palaces. They still use their swords and guns for fight; but only real Rajputs. Rajputs fought for their people and country. Bhramin and Rajputs both are close castes. Bhramins used to be their masters. I am a Bhramin too. I like them, but they are too strict. Their women can't live without covering head. I don't like it, it's our culture though. My brother has so many Rajputs friends. I never talk with them. We are Bhramins, however my brother wants to marry with a Rajputani. I told him to not do that. It's not good for him. Real Rajputanis are very honest for their husband, more than other woman; but Rajputs are very strict. They can't accept a other cast brother in law.

Quite interesting to learn some ancient caste rules still apply in modern times. It is commonly believed they have lapsed with time. Especially after The Mahatma.
But culture is really hard to change, so it is interesting to learn the former systems are still in place in India.
Your writing is well done. You must notice that we all have different ways to say the same thing.
Yes, I can notice that. :-)
Do Rajputs really still "use guns and swords for fighting"? How do the Indian police respond to that?
If they fight in their family matters then police don't say anything. They can't hurt public. My city's king also did that. People don't like him.
